Those who are interested in participating in the conference with an oral or/and poster presentation or/and thematic symposium should submit the abstract of their papers in the online form of the conference (up to 300 words for oral and poster presentations and 400 words for a symposium) until 18th of August 2019 31st of July 2019 in order to be promptly forwarded to the conference reviewers.

Authors will be informed for the assessment of their abstracts until the 6th of October 2019.

Afterwards, authors, whose paper is accepted, should be registered in the conference and pay the predefined amount until 27th of October 2019. The payment should be done via the bank account of the conference which is presented at the end of this page and the payment receipt should be delivered to the conference email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Every author and co-author of a paper should register at the conference in order to be included in the conference programme and abstracts’ book which will be announced later in the conference site. 

Conference proceedings will be published after the end of the conference. Instructions will be given on the conference site.

You are kindly requested to pay attention to the following: 

  • Please do not exceed duration of 15 minutes for oral presentations.
  • Thematic symposia are organized by a chair and include 4 - 5 presentations  and discussions. The symposium chair, who can also to be a presenter, has to submit the symposium general abstract (title, abstract and a short documentation of its goals), however, each participant of the symposium should firstly submit the abstract of their presentation individually with the names and presenters’ information/affiliation and the title of their abstract. 
  • Posters will be included in conference themes and subthemes. The author should be in front of his/ her poster during the session, according to the conference time schedule. The poster dimension should be 0.80 cm x 1.20 cm (vertical) (download templates here and here).

Instruction for abstracts: 

Abstracts for oral or poster presentation or for a symposium presentation should not exceed 300 words. 

The abstract should include:

  • The conference theme or subtheme in which it is included 
  • a short literature review 
  • the main research questions or research hypothesis, objectives;
  • a short description of the research method/ data collection;
  • Results/Outcomes
  • keywords

Evaluation criteria of abstracts:

Abstracts will be evaluated anonymously by reviewers. 

The following criteria will be taken into consideration when evaluating the abstracts:

  • The relevance of the study to the conference theme and subthemes
  • The contribution of the study to scientific research 
  • The theoretical and methodological documentation of the study
  • The ability to use the findings of the study in educational theory and practice

Authors should also take into account the following:

  • Abstracts of a proposed oral or poster presentation or presentation at a thematic symposium may be submitted in Greek or in English language. In the case of an oral presentation or a thematic symposium, those who submit an abstract in English should be aware that there is no possibility for automatic translation in any session or thematic symposium. 
  • Every participant may participate the Conference with a maximum of two oral presentations and one thematic symposium or a poster presentation, either as a single author or as a co-author. 
  • In each presentation, it is recommended not to involve more than five co-authors.
